There are many geographic effects that Africa is facing. The desert has effected Africa because its extremely dry there. There is not enough water to grow crops or drink water. Because of this, not many people live there. However, the savanna is good place to live. It has grassland and is good for growing crops and raising animals. A lot of people live here. The rivers in Africa have both good and bad effects. Some of the rivers have freshwater. The rivers provide fertile soil and water for growing crops. It is bad because it is a long distance for people to travel. The climate is hot summers and mild winters. This effects how people live, eat, and dress. Some resources in Africa are diamond, gold, and oil.

Its not just the geographic effect that is ruining Africa. Humans are also effecting Africa. In some countries in Africa, there is no education and that is why people aren't that wise. Humans overuse fossil fuels. This has lead to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Humans in Africa are destroying forests because they think that there will be more land to grow more crops. However, they don't have enough water to grow the crops. This makes the land go waste. This happens over and over which ruins a lot of land.
Africa is a resource-rich continent but many African people are poor. This is because the economy of Africa is doing bad. A lot of people don't have jobs. This is because there isn't a lot of factories in Africa. However, the economy is also hurt when there is not enough clean water. There are not enough people to work in the industries. The polluted water harms the fishing industry because the polluted water kills the fishes. The economy is also hurt when there is desertification and deforestation. There is forest loss which contributes between 6 percent and 12 percent of annual global. The population and institution decreases due to these things.
Deforestation can be caused by agriculture expansion, clear cutting, burning, and lofting. When deforestation happens, the soil caused widespread erosion throughout the topics. It causes soil loss. Whenever deforestation and desertification happens, the humans are effected. The humans land causes vegetation loss. It reduces the overall water supply in the area. It causes lack of trees which means all the resources that are made from trees can't be made. There's a big difference between deforestation and desertification, but they are both bad for humans.
When these African kids drink the dirty water, they get sick. It causes sickness and diseases in their body. The water is not very clean. If you drink this water, you are at risk.
